It’s been a while. For those of you that have been on Maddie’s Ventures before, hello again. For those that haven’t, welcome to my other little space on the internet. Maddie’s Ventures was something I started back in 2017, only ever making it public in 2018 and pretty much forgot about it after I graduated.
I always wanted to have a blog, a place where I could ramble about the world and share what I’d been up to and enjoying. That’s what made me originally start this site and also why I left it alone to begin a new blog aimed specifically at helping graduates find their feet in the world.
While I’m still running Mind The Gap Graduates, I have missed having a place where I could talk about everything and nothing and not have to worry about whether it was actionable advice. So here we are… I’m really hoping I can keep up both of my blogs, which will be brought together on my Instagram where I talk, very openly and as non-highlight reel like as I can, about life as a twenty-something.
I previously used this space to talk about a bit of travel, mental health, baking, my plant pots that I used to paint and other random pieces. So, I can’t tell you exactly what I’ll be covering on this blog but it’ll go a little something like: lifestyle, travel, interiors, ramblings about life in my twenties and more.
So if you’re looking for random stories and blogs about my life as a twenty-two year old, please do stick around. If you’re in need of some advice about careers, finances or self-care as a graduate, head over to Mind The Gap Graduates. Or maybe you’d like to read a bit of both and that’s lovely too – so thank you.
I’ll probably either share a post on here every couple of weeks, or I’ll never touch it again after hitting publish on this short blog and the dust will settle on it once again – we’ll see.
